ABOUT

Welcome to Knots on Euclid, a women-owned company based in Connecticut. My name is Erika, I live on “Euclid” Ave with my husband, son, and dog Kira.

I’m obsessed with the process of macrame and creating beautiful products using recycled cotton string and rope with my hands. I first made a macrame plant hanger in summer camp in the ’70s and hadn’t touched macrame since then.

I was extremely stressed with the state of the world in 2020 and tying knots gave me focus in an otherwise chaotic space. The art of tying knots is extremely meditative since it is a slow process to make something so lovely, which is what I found so calming.

Knots on Euclid prides itself on using 100% recycled cotton fibers. It's important to me to use as many sustainable materials as possible and not contribute more waste to the environment.

I take great care with every product in mind and stay on trend by incorporating colors that are both seasonal and traditional. I love creating functional and wearable art mixing modern designs with vintage vibes.

Thanks for stopping by,

Erika
