Thanks for stopping by

Hi, I’m Erika, the owner of Knots on Euclid. Thanks for stopping by. The name of my business came from the fact that I live on Euclid Ave in Fairfield, CT with my husband, 11-year-old son, and puppy.

I’m obsessed with macrame and creating beautiful products using recycled cotton string and rope. I first made a macrame plant hanger in the summer camp in the ’70s and hadn’t touched macrame since then. Instead of sticking with macrame, I became a sewer and knitter until the summer of 2020 when I wanted to try something new. Being holed up in my home due to the pandemic I decided to revisit my childhood craft and never looked back.

I was extremely stressed with the state of the world and tying knots soothed me and gave me focus. As I learned to create different products and work with different materials, I couldn’t stop knotting. I gave gifts to friends, family, and neighbors until I had too much stuff and decided to try to sell my goods.

After participating in a local shop and stroll I was hooked and alas my small business started.

Knots on Euclid prides itself on using 100% recycled cotton fibers. It's important to me to use as many sustainable materials as possible and not contribute more waste to the environment. I take great care with every product in mind and stay on trend by incorporating colors that are both seasonal and traditional. I love creating functional and wearable art which is how I view my macrame purses. I describe my work as mixing modern designs with vintage vibes.

Stay tuned for market updates and new products,
